A Legacy Returning Home
PATH Foundation was born from a deeply personal legacy of displacement, resilience, and return. Our founder descends from repatriated formerly enslaved families who were forced to cross oceans in search of dignity, belonging, and a future they could not yet see. That history is not distant—it shapes our mission today.
As deportations and forced returns increase, many individuals are sent back to countries they barely remember, often without preparation, support, or connection. PATH exists to change that reality.
We believe returning home should never be a punishment. It should be a supported, guided transition.
PATH provides compassionate, trauma-informed support to individuals and families seeking voluntary return or facing repatriation. Through counseling, travel coordination, family reconnection, and reintegration guidance, we ensure no one has to walk the road home alone.
Because with dignity, care, and the right support—it may not be that bad home after all.
