Who We Are

About PATH Foundation

Plan to Accommodate Travel Home (PATH) Foundation is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring dignity, stability, and hope for individuals and families experiencing crisis. We provide culturally appropriate humanitarian services, including emergency food assistance, housing stabilization, temporary lodging, resource navigation, emotional support, and voluntary humanitarian repatriation for eligible individuals.

We recognize that every person's journey is unique. Whether someone needs emergency food, assistance securing temporary lodging, help navigating community resources, or support planning a voluntary return home, PATH provides compassionate guidance centered on dignity, informed choice, and cultural understanding.

One of PATH's distinguishing programs is voluntary humanitarian repatriation. For some individuals, returning home is a carefully considered personal decision—not a punishment or failure. PATH believes that, when chosen freely and supported appropriately, returning home can provide an opportunity for healing, family reunification, renewed stability, and a fresh beginning. Our organization does not participate in immigration enforcement or deportation activities. We support only voluntary, informed decisions made by the individuals we serve.

Our services are guided by the following principles:

  • Dignity: Every individual deserves to be treated with respect and compassion.

  • Choice: Assistance is voluntary and centered on informed decision-making.

  • Cultural Responsiveness: We provide culturally appropriate services that recognize and respect the diverse backgrounds of the communities we serve.

  • Integrity: We operate with transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of donor support.

  • Community: Strong partnerships help create lasting solutions for individuals and families.

Through our programs, PATH helps individuals and families:

  • Provide culturally appropriate emergency food assistance

  • Support housing stabilization and homelessness prevention

  • Offer temporary lodging during times of crisis

  • Connect clients with community resources and supportive services

  • Assist with voluntary humanitarian repatriation and reintegration planning

  • Promote emotional wellness, hope, and long-term stability

At the heart of PATH is a simple but powerful belief:

Every person deserves dignity, compassion, and the opportunity to move forward with hope.

Whether helping a family access emergency food, assisting someone facing housing instability, or supporting an individual who voluntarily chooses to return home, PATH exists to ensure that no one has to face life's challenges alone.

We invite you to explore our programs, learn more about our mission, partner with our organization, or support our work through volunteering and charitable giving. Together, we can strengthen communities, restore hope, and provide compassionate pathways toward stability and opportunity.
